We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and process efficiency. Reporting to the VP Finance, this role requires technical accounting expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to optimize financial processes and drive growth.

What you’ll do

Accounting, Financial Reporting & Compliance

· Manage full-cycle accounting for subsidiaries and consolidated financials, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.

· Manage month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and audit readiness.

· Oversee multi-currency consolidations, tax filings, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.

· Coordinate external audits and maintain audit-ready documentation.

· Oversee divisional financial statement processes and provide recommendations on performance.

Financial Planning & Strategy

· Develop and refine financial processes to support business growth.

· Lead budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting.

· Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to leadership.

· Establish and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.

· Own FP&A processes for more meaningful and actionable result guidance.

Leadership & Operational Oversight

· Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and performance excellence.

· Oversee cross-border financial activities and regulatory compliance.

· Drive process improvements and system optimizations for financial efficiency.

What you bring

Qualifications and experience

· CPA designation and bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

· 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in public practice and industry,

including team management.

· Expertise in financial systems and reporting under US GAAP and IFRS

· Experience in audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

· Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
